About the role#
The Real Estate Portfolio Management group at HOOPP is looking for an Analyst, Real Estate Portfolio Analytics Co-op Student to join the Real Estate Data and Analysis team. This is an 8 or 12-month placement for the Winter 2027 term. You will provide analytics, reporting, and support to the real estate investment management team using tools like Taliance and Tableau.
What you'll do#
- Support the semi-annual Real Estate Forecast by loading and validating underwriting models.
- Assist in creating monthly investment Capacity Analysis and capital Pacing Plans.
- Refine Taliance system modeling, including mechanisms to true-up debt and LP cash calls.
- Develop documentation for the Taliance setup and modeling process.
- Maintain existing BI reports, including Executive and Asset Class Dashboards.
- Assist with ad-hoc analytical support for the business.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BSc, BA, or Master in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel modeling.
- Ability to apply Real Estate concepts like Discounted Cashflow Analysis.
- A strong grasp of Real Estate Finance, including balance sheet and financial statement analysis.
- Familiarity with Argus Enterprise, Taliance, Tableau, SAP HANA, Snowflake, or SQL is preferred.
