About the role#
The Marketing Growth Analytics & Operations Intern role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and product engineering. You will support the consumer programs team, which manages subscriptions, surveys, and lifecycle campaigns across email, push, and in-app channels. This position is suited for someone with a technical background who wants to understand how marketing decisions are made and how data drives business performance.
What you'll do#
- Write SQL queries to track campaign, cohort, and subscription performance.
- Design A/B tests by defining audience splits, variants, and success metrics.
- Perform post-test analysis to determine outcomes and future strategy.
- Manage consumer surveys from initial request through to final reporting.
- Translate marketing requirements into technical specifications and tickets for engineers.
- Build automations and templates for recurring reporting to improve team efficiency.
- Investigate data issues and perform quality assurance on new product features.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in engineering, computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related technical field.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS.
- Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools to enhance productivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Interest in the business and product side of technical work.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on a rolling term.
- Compensation is $800 USD monthly gross.
