About the role#
This internship provides the opportunity to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures under the supervision of a technologist. You will gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, performing technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
What you'll do#
- Position patients and select accurate anatomic and technical parameters for imaging procedures.
- Assist physicians during imaging and help prepare contrast media or medications within your scope of practice.
- Complete all necessary documentation for procedures, including regulatory, billing, and image distribution tasks.
- Implement and maintain radiation protection and safety standards.
- Support the Radiology Technologist by attending to patient comfort and needs, managing patient flow, and recording clinical information.
- Maintain adequate supplies to ensure efficient department operations.

- Current enrollment and good standing in a radiology technologist program.
- Commitment to compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
- Adherence to the code of business conduct and relevant company policies.
