About the role#
This position functions as a Radiology Technologist Intern at a technical level under the supervision of a technologist. You will perform a variety of imaging procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative while gaining clinical experience.
What you'll do#
- Perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures.
- Position patients and select accurate anatomic and technical parameters for imaging.
- Assist physicians during imaging procedures and help prepare contrast media or medications within your scope of practice.
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
- Document clinical information and complete all required regulatory, billing, and image distribution paperwork.
- Assist Radiology Technologists with patient care, comfort, and workflow management.
- Maintain adequate supplies to ensure efficient department operations.

- Current enrollment and good standing in a radiology technologist program.
- Ability to follow radiation safety protocols and clinical documentation standards.
