About the role#
Our marketing design team is looking for an intern to support the promotion of teen, young adult, and romance books. You will help create digital advertisements and social media content while gaining experience in a publishing environment.
What you'll do#
- Design trade and consumer advertisements.
- Create social media marketing content.
- Animate digital ads and book covers.
- Make revisions on active design projects.
- Download assets from our digital asset management system for various projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or master's program.
- Major or minor in design, advertising, or marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects on a Mac.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- An online portfolio link included with your application.
- A resume and cover letter addressed to the Hiring Team.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in our New York City office.
- You must be available to work 28 hours per week from Monday through Thursday.
- The internship runs from June 7 to August 12, 2027.
- Compensation is $18 per hour.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States.
