    About the role#

    The National Accounts Sales Department offers an internship for individuals interested in adult and children's book sales. You will work with sales representatives who manage accounts and chain bookstores. This role provides exposure to the sales process and the book publishing industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare online collections in Edelweiss and sales presentations in PowerPoint.
    • Gather physical and digital sales materials to support the sell-in process.
    • Update e-commerce product pages with supplemental images and assets.
    • Track key promotional titles and assist with sales analysis.
    • Create monthly newsletters that highlight account promotions.
    • Identify store distribution suggestions to support local buys.
    • Complete special business projects for the Sales Management team.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or master's program.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of marketplace trends and an interest in books.
    • Authorization to work in the United States.

    Location & details#

    • Location: New York, New York.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 to August 12).
    • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 28 hours per week.
    • Modality: On-site in the NYC office.
    • Compensation: $18 per hour.
