    About the role#

    The Arts Rights, Creative Operations intern helps clear and manage artwork rights for book covers and interior content. You will support the team by licensing stock art and fonts, managing third-party sales, and handling administrative tasks that keep our production workflows moving.

    What you'll do#

    • Process and code invoices for stock licensing.
    • Manage permissions requests from subrights and other internal departments.
    • Assist with projects to improve team efficiencies and workflows.
    • Learn the details of book production and how rights and content are managed at a major publisher.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or master’s program.
    • Ability to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, in the New York City office.
    • Strong organizational and process-oriented skills.
    • An interest in production, business management, or rights management.
    • A love for books.
    • Authorization to work in the United States.
    • Submission of a resume and a cover letter addressed to the Hiring Team.

    • Location: New York, New York (On-site).
    • Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 - August 12, 2027).
    • Compensation: $18 per hour.
