About the role#
This is a full-time Software Project Engineer Intern position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work directly with the Project Engineering lead to support program goals and execution. This role requires U.S. citizenship to access program information.
What you'll do#
- Drive program progress by working closely with the Project Engineering lead.
- Track project tasks and follow up with team members to ensure they close on time.
- Collaborate with engineering, test, and manufacturing teams to support program execution.
- Participate in root cause analysis to resolve complex hardware-software issues.
- Apply Collins Aerospace processes and tools during product and software development.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Engineering through the end of the internship.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in project management and project-related budgeting.

- Location: Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site position.
