About the role#
This summer internship offers the chance to join our Land Systems team in Slidell. You will work on research and development initiatives for ground vehicle systems. As a member of our engineering team, you will contribute to projects that support military vehicle development.
What you'll do#
- Manage tasks across the full software development life cycle, from initial design and build to integration, testing, and delivery.
- Collaborate within a medium-sized software development team on military vehicle projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience with Linux and Windows development environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with hardware and software integration, communication protocols like TCP, UDP, CAN, and Serial, and tools such as Git, Mercurial, or Jira is preferred.
