    About the role#

    As a Security Analyst Intern in Long Beach, you will support the Security Team in protecting personnel, assets, and intellectual property. You will assist with physical security, conduct intelligence and risk assessments, and perform network infrastructure research. This role involves developing security education materials and working alongside mentors to apply industry concepts to real-world challenges.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the development of security education programs.
    • Conduct intelligence and risk assessments.
    • Perform network infrastructure research and assist with physical security tasks.
    • Lead development projects independently.
    • Collaborate across teams to deliver results.
    • Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to track progress.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an associates, bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or a related field.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • At least 3 months of general work experience.
    • Ability to work full-time and on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting in May or June 2027.
    • A GPA of 3.5 or above is preferred.
    • Military experience (active duty, reserves, or ROTC) is preferred.
    • Prior experience in the aerospace or tech industry is preferred.

    • Location: Long Beach, California.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
