About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for their outpatient clinic. This is a full-time, contracted position. You will work with adults, adolescents, and children aged five and older. The role offers a choice of working hours and provides full administrative support.
What you'll do#
- Perform psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and strategies.
- Document services rendered according to company policies.
- Keep up with current advancements in the field through professional development.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Prior work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Winter Garden, Florida.
- Modality: On-site and remote options are available. You may work up to 50% via telemedicine.
- Schedule: Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth visits. Telemedicine availability is offered Friday through Sunday.
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- Additional: This position includes group malpractice insurance and access to digital technology.
