About the role#
Thriveworks is hiring a Registered Mental Health Intern to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. This is a full-time role for individuals pursuing Florida licensure as a LMHC. You will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing telehealth and face-to-face sessions to help clients reach measurable progress.
What you'll do#
- Provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions.
- Treat a diverse range of clients, including children and couples.
- Conduct intakes and diagnose according to the current DSM-5.
- Participate in clinical supervision.
- Maintain 30 hours of weekly availability with at least 25 sessions.
What you'll need#
- Approved by the board as a RMHCI.
- Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
- Graduate or post-graduate experience treating depression and anxiety.
- Preference for experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing.
- Confidence using modern clinical technology and EHR tools.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Located in Orlando, Florida.
- Must reside in Florida and within 45 minutes of the office location.
- The role requires working in the office during a probationary period, transitioning to a hybrid model afterward.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
