About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for students pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering. You will work on-site under direct supervision to perform routine engineering tasks and support project goals. This position is available on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply engineering design and drafting standards.
- Create detail design calculations, reports, drawings, and sketches.
- Help develop conceptual process engineering designs and studies.
- Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
- Support engineers and designers with project safety, cost, schedule, and quality goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Chemical or Biochemical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of chemical engineering calculations, simulation software, or CAD tools is helpful but not required.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods.
