About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Wilmington, NC. You will join the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy team to gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry.
What you'll do#
- Manage material sourcing to achieve the lowest possible costs while maintaining quality and schedule requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor proposals using cost and price analysis techniques.
- Implement purchase contracts in compliance with company and government regulations.
- Evaluate current and future material requirements for the business.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for an unlimited duration without company sponsorship.
- Willingness to work on-site in Wilmington, NC.
