About the role#
This GridOS Project Engineer Intern position focuses on the evaluation and validation of next-generation Distribution Management System applications. You will bridge the gap between software development and real-world grid operations by ensuring new applications meet industry standards and performance requirements.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on testing of new Distribution Management applications to assess functionality and reliability.
- Design and build comprehensive test cases to validate application performance and edge cases.
- Analyze software requirements to determine deployment feasibility using GitOps principles and ArgoCD.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs through stress testing.
- Translate complex software features into user-friendly technical documentation and guides for grid operators.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of electric power distribution systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in Linux, including command-line navigation and shell scripting.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 2027 to August 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
