About the role#
This internship is a full-time position for the Summer 2027 term. You will join the Kiewit OGC Engineering team in Houston, Texas. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility in your work location.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic engineering calculations under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Review P&ID documents and mechanical equipment lists.
- Develop electrical load lists and one line diagrams.
- Learn and apply industry codes and standards to your assignments.
- Complete non-routine technical tasks of limited scope.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical or Chemical Engineering at an ABET accredited institution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Ability to manage your responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working effectively within a team environment.
