    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join the Systems Engineering team to help blend software and hardware systems. You will work on projects that impact our autonomous driving technology while building your own skills through collaboration with industry leaders.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, implement, and test software infrastructure, test runners, and tooling using C++ and Python.
    • Scale test execution on HIL benches and simulation platforms.
    • Work with Systems and Test Engineers to identify requirements and solve pain points in test automation, triage, and release qualification.
    • Build automated pipelines and data workflows to improve failure triaging, regression testing, and qualification reporting.
    • Write technical design documents and user guides, and lead technical demos to onboard other engineers to new automation tools.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
    • Proficiency in software development using C++.
    • A solid foundation in core computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
    • Familiarity with software testing fundamentals like unit, integration, and regression testing.

    • This role is based in Mountain View, California.
    • The position is hybrid.
    • This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
