About the role#
Trane Technologies offers a 12-week summer internship for students interested in environmental health and safety. This role provides exposure to manufacturing processes and safety management systems. You will work on-site and interact with leadership across the organization. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support safety management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct risk and ergonomic assessments.
- Assist with environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training materials.
- Observe and analyze manufacturing processes.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or BA in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Occupational Risk and Safety Science.
- Junior or Senior academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint.
- Ability to travel to various locations across North America.
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
