About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in construction project management. You will work alongside project managers to execute construction projects, focusing on energy-efficient building solutions. This role is a full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules, parameters, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support programming and material selection.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining an operations budget while monitoring forecasted costs.
- Prepare sub-contractor requests for quotations and evaluate incoming proposals.
- Communicate project scope, budget, and performance updates to contractors, subcontractors, and owners.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, having completed at least your sophomore year.
- Pursuit of a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major traffic violations.
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
