About the role#
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern supports the development, optimization, and improvement of manufacturing processes. You will work on projects to enhance quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity. This role involves hands-on collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production challenges and support operational excellence.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment to find opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
- Collect, analyze, and report production data to support process optimization, capacity planning, and performance initiatives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to implement process enhancements.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues, equipment performance, and product quality concerns.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as work instructions, process flows, standard operating procedures, and project reports.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, CAD software, data analysis tools, and Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
