About the role#
This co-op position provides engineering support for electrical, instrumentation, and control applications across all paper mill operations. You will gain exposure to process control systems, power distribution, and industrial maintenance while working alongside experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Assist the EI&C Department Engineers with assigned tasks.
- Create value-added changes in the Distributed Control System (DCS) and PLC programming.
- Perform field data gathering, inventory management analysis, and documentation streamlining.
- Maintain and update equipment files and drawings.
- Supervise project-related items and the installation of equipment or parts.
- Coordinate and meet with contractors, vendors, and engineering staff.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information across different levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively with plant personnel and engineering groups to ensure project execution.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks, work independently, and use self-initiative to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work in industrial environments that may be dirty, noisy, hot, or humid.

- Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin.
- Terms: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
