About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience supporting end users across office and manufacturing environments. You will develop technical troubleshooting skills while learning how enterprise IT services support business operations. We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys helping others and has an interest in technology.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers.
- Respond to requests submitted through the IT service management system.
- Assist with the deployment, imaging, and configuration of Windows hardware.
- Troubleshoot common connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office tools.
- Handle user account administration, including onboarding, access requests, and password resets.
- Document technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions.
- Set up and maintain conference room technology.
- Manage equipment inventory, asset tracking, and lifecycle activities.
- Participate in IT projects focused on automation and user experience.
- Follow security, data protection, and acceptable use policies.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- A strong interest in customer service and technology troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- A basic understanding of networking concepts and computer hardware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Experience troubleshooting personal computers or mobile devices is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Active Directory, Intune, or ticketing systems is helpful.
- Previous customer service experience or participation in technology clubs and projects is valued.
