About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical-Mechanical Technician Intern to join our team in De Pere. This role provides hands-on experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electro-mechanical systems. You will work alongside senior technicians and engineers to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot existing equipment.
- Support the installation of new systems while following safety regulations and company standards.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and system performance.
- Take part in training programs to build your technical skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate degree or equivalent program in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field.
- A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used for assembly and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience from previous internships or co-ops.
- Preferred: Knowledge of control systems and PLC programming.
- Preferred: Basic proficiency with diagnostic tools and CAD software.
