About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern supports initiatives to improve operational performance, quality, and efficiency. You will gain hands-on experience by applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to real-world manufacturing processes. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Green Bay.
What you'll do#
- Identify and analyze opportunities to improve productivity, safety, and operational performance.
- Collect and interpret data to spot trends and measure performance.
- Take part in Kaizen, value stream mapping, and other Lean or Six Sigma activities to reduce waste.
- Work with teams across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to sustain improvements.
- Create and update project documentation, process maps, standard work instructions, and performance reports.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preference for candidates with experience using Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and Lean or Six Sigma concepts.
