About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will join project delivery teams to gain experience across various industries, business processes, and systems. You will work under the supervision of experienced team members to execute high-quality risk advisory projects while managing your workload to meet budgets and timelines.
What you'll do#
- Assess business and information technology processes and system internal controls.
- Execute enterprise, operational, information technology, and third-party risk management and compliance programs.
- Execute internal audit plans, including information technology internal audits.
- Obtain and analyze data, identify trends, and visualize results using commercially available analytics solutions.
- Assist with business development activities, including conducting research and contributing to proposals.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project approaches, manage risks, and recommend process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Ability to travel at least 25% as required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning through structured, on-the-job, and self-directed training.
Location & details#
- Location: Newport Beach, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week).
- Compensation: $40 per hour.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
