About the role#
The Technical Learning & Development Intern role is a technical position within the Global Enablement team. You will support workflow automation, AI tool development, content management, and learning program operations. This role works alongside the AI Solutions Developer and Senior L&D Specialists to build solutions, maintain systems, and support multimedia production. You will actively use AI tools like GIA, Google Gemini, and Claude to improve team efficiency and output quality.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and implementation of SOPs and automation workflows for L&D operations using Google Workspace tools and AI platforms.
- Assist in building and testing AI-powered tools, integrations, and automation scripts.
- Conduct audits of digital assets across organizational platforms to identify gaps, duplicates, and optimization opportunities.
- Apply content taxonomy and metadata standards to ensure digital assets are accurate and discoverable.
- Provide technical support for internal learning events, including setup of virtual and hybrid platforms, troubleshooting, and post-event data collection.
- Contribute to multimedia content production, including video editing, eLearning module updates, and slide deck creation.
- Maintain dashboards and reports to provide leadership visibility into learning program outcomes and AI tool adoption.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Adult Learning, Multimedia Design, Instructional Design, or Educational Technology.
- Comfort with AI-powered productivity and automation tools such as GIA, Google Gemini, or Claude.
- Experience with or interest in automation frameworks, APIs, and workflow tools like Google Workspace Flows or Zapier.
- Proficiency in content creation tools like Google Workspace, Canva, and Camtasia.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Looker, or Power BI.
- Foundational understanding of data structures, version control, and software development practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
- The role is based in Oakville or Toronto, Ontario.
- We operate on a hybrid work model.
