About the role#
Geotab is seeking a DataOps Developer Intern to join our Data and Analytics team. This position involves building enterprise services, applications, and tools to support our data operation solutions. You will work closely with Data Engineering and Data Science teams during this full-time internship term.
What you'll do#
- Build enterprise services, applications, and tools for data operations.
- Develop and support data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to support pipeline development.
- Perform quality assurance by following coding standards and identifying logic errors.
- Analyze log files and performance data to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of bugs.
- Participate in design discussions and document technical requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and writing queries.
- Knowledge of Advanced SQL for working with large data sets.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January start, 8+ months duration).
- Modality: Hybrid work model.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship (37.5 hours per week).
