About the role#
As a Quant Developer Intern, you will work with colleagues and mentors to design, create, and test software applications. You will learn development tools and programming concepts while applying them to real-world challenges. This role involves mastering the team business domain and contributing to the development of software solutions.
What you'll do#
- Learn development tools, best practices, and programming concepts with mentor guidance.
- Independently complete simple coding tasks.
- Document, implement, and test high-quality features.
- Participate in design discussions and provide input.
- Engage in code reviews by submitting your own work and providing feedback to peers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree program for Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic programming skills in Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and clear verbal and written communication.
