About the role#
This internship at Clearwater Analytics offers an opportunity to work with a team of colleagues and mentors to design, build, and test software applications. You will learn development tools and best practices while gaining experience in real-world software systems. Interns are expected to master the team's business domain basics within one month and develop detailed knowledge within three months.
What you'll do#
- Complete simple coding tasks independently.
- Document, implement, and test high-quality features with help from peers and mentors.
- Participate in design discussions and provide input.
- Submit code for review and take part in code reviews for others.
- Collaborate with team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Incorporate feedback from team leads into your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree program for Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic programming skills in Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
