About the role#
As an Intern Site Reliability Engineer, you will join our team to support the delivery, management, and monitoring of Kinaxis products and cloud infrastructure. You will work within a collaborative team to ensure service availability and performance for our global customers. This is a full-time position for 8 or 12 months, starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Deliver customer excellence by meeting all service level agreements.
- Deploy, upgrade, and support various applications, services, and operating systems.
- Gain exposure to infrastructure components like VMWare, Kubernetes, storage, and networking.
- Work with public cloud platforms, specifically Azure and GCP.
- Perform hands-on infrastructure support and hardware lifecycle management in an enterprise data center.
- Troubleshoot system performance and application health issues.
- Take ownership of the incident resolution process.
- Adhere to all security and confidentiality requirements.
- Complete additional projects as requested.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Proven troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows or Linux environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident to meet CGRP security requirements.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Ottawa, Ontario.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the office at least three days per week.
- The hourly rate for this position is between $27.04 and $39.66, depending on skills, education, and experience.
