About the role#
Geotab is seeking a Finance Intern for a 12-month term starting in January 2027. You will support financial reporting and accounting practices while gaining exposure to modern FinOps and commercial analysis. This role involves using AI tools to streamline workflows and helping the team make data-driven decisions. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Support financial reporting and accounting practices across the Finance team.
- Manage FinOps tasks including cloud-cost visibility, allocation, optimization, and governance.
- Analyze commercial performance, operational metrics, and margins to surface actionable insights.
- Explore and apply AI tools to improve the speed and quality of financial analysis.
- Build dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related business field.
- Comfort using Google Workspace.
- Experience with AI productivity and automation tools like Google Gemini or Claude.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
