About the role#
This is a full-time, 6-month paid internship starting in January 2027. You will join the PTQ Quality Metrics and Business Insights team to help stabilize and optimize core quality processes. The role involves supporting metrics and monitoring for MRoQ, business system integration, and PTQ strategy.
What you'll do#
- Lead or participate in various PTQ initiatives and projects.
- Facilitate workshops and team break-out sessions.
- Develop performance indicators and generate business insights.
- Create and manage data repositories and communication channels.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of leaders, subject matter experts, and business functions across the Pharma Technical Operations network.
- Handle additional priorities assigned by the Global Head of Quality Processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through guiding a team or project.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools.
- Ability to synthesize information and solve problems using quantitative and qualitative approaches.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams, including scientists, consultants, and engineers.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile fundamentals and cross-cultural experience are considered pluses.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in South San Francisco, California.
- This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week.
- The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $52.00 per hour, determined by experience and qualifications.
- This role qualifies for paid holiday time off.
