About the role#
As a Virtual Design Student in Phoenix, you will support project teams by using 3D modeling and digital design tools to bring construction projects to life. You will collaborate with teams to communicate ideas and solve project challenges. This role provides exposure to how PCL operates across different functions.
What you'll do#
- Create 3D models to assist our group in collaborating with districts and project teams.
- Conduct research and development tasks to support innovation initiatives.
- Help project teams implement construction technologies.
- Spend time with various groups, including scheduling, preconstruction, estimating, and safety, to learn about company operations.
What you'll need#
- You are an incoming Junior or Senior in a 4-year or 2-year technical college.
- You are pursuing a major in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Experience with visual graphics tools and digital technology.
- A willingness to research, problem solve, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
