About the role#
GE Vernova is looking for interns to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work on projects that have real-world implications while learning from industry leaders. This role focuses on applying digital technologies and machine learning to power systems. You will work full time throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Work on substantial projects that contribute to power system operations.
- Gain hands-on experience with digital technologies.
- Collaborate with team members to solve energy challenges.
- Integrate power system concepts with AI and machine learning techniques.
- Develop machine learning models, including those for time series forecasting and grid operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master or PhD program at an accredited university.
- A degree focus in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
