About the role#
GE Vernova is hiring an Energy Optimization Software Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027. This role is based in our Bellevue, Washington office. You will work on substantial projects with real-world implications, collaborating within our Grid Software Solutions team to solve problems related to Wholesale Energy Markets.
What you'll do#
- Solve technical challenges within the Wholesale Energy Markets.
- Use your coding experience for hands-on project tasks.
- Collaborate with the Grid Software Solutions team.
- Engage directly with digital technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master or PhD program.
- A degree focus in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) during the internship.
- Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
