About the role#
The Energy Engineering co-op program develops your technical, business, leadership, and communication skills. You will work with the Digital Services team on Intelligent Service and Energy Services projects. This role provides insight into a career in energy engineering and allows you to build knowledge in HVAC, energy, and building automation. Successful co-ops have the opportunity to join the Graduate Training Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Interpret utility bills and teach customers how to understand them.
- Support the sales team by benchmarking potential customers' buildings against industry peers.
- Act as an integral member of an account team to support the fulfillment of Intelligent Services agreements.
- Update energy visuals, carbon emissions, and ENERGYSTAR scores using utility data.
- Participate in energy audit walkthroughs and customer consultation meetings alongside your mentor.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- A valid driver's license held for at least 12 months.
- Ability to provide proof of insurance.
- A clean driving record with no major or frequent traffic violations.
