About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship program for students interested in construction project management. You will work alongside a project manager to support project execution, focusing on energy-efficient building solutions. The role is full-time and provides exposure to technical, business, and leadership tasks within the industrial machinery manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules and project parameters.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support programming and material selection.
- Establish and maintain operations budgets by monitoring forecasted costs.
- Assist in preparing sub-contractor requests for quotations and billing schedule of values.
- Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and owners regarding project scope, budgets, and performance.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program throughout the internship.
- Completion of at least the sophomore or 2nd year of studies before the internship starts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with proof of insurance.
- Pursuit of a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
