About the role#
Trane Technologies offers a 12-week summer internship program for students interested in Construction Project Management. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside project managers to execute construction objectives. You will gain exposure to project planning, budgeting, and site operations while contributing to energy-efficient building solutions.
What you'll do#
- Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules and setting procedures to meet system objectives.
- Work with the engineering team to support programming and material selection.
- Maintain operations budgets by revising estimates and monitoring forecasted costs.
- Prepare requests for quotations for subcontractors and qualify their proposals.
- Communicate with contractors, owners, and subcontractors regarding project scope, performance, and close-out.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering throughout the internship.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year before the start of the summer.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months.
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
