About the role#
This internship focuses on supporting manufacturing and process improvement initiatives. You will work in a regulated environment to assist with equipment implementation, process validation, and quality projects. The role involves applying Lean Six Sigma principles to solve problems and improve operational excellence.
What you'll do#
- Assist with new equipment introduction, including fabrication, assembly, and qualification.
- Support process validation activities, such as developing work instructions and executing validation tasks.
- Collect data and apply analytical approaches to solve technical problems.
- Document and report results from tests and measurements.
- Co-lead quality improvement projects.
- Contribute to product qualification packages while ensuring compliance with all standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in a bachelor or master degree program for engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Completion of at least 24 credit hours with a minimum of sophomore standing.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work for at least 10 weeks.
- Willingness to relocate.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
