Program Management - Global Sourcing Intern

About the role#

As a Global Sourcing Intern, you will play a key role in maintaining the material pipeline that supports our 3D printing technology. You will work alongside our engineering team to balance cost, quality, and supply reliability while building relationships with global suppliers. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Work directly with current and potential suppliers to ensure a consistent material flow.
• Develop strategies to optimize suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience.
• Assist in supply chain planning for upcoming product rollouts.
• Conduct market analysis to generate sourcing insights.

What you'll need#

• A technical or engineering background, with preference for majors in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Enthusiasm for sourcing, contacting, and evaluating suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and capacity.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across various teams.
• Organizational skills to manage concurrent projects and conversations.
• Leadership experience and exposure to project management.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site in Somerville, Massachusetts.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September – December).
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Compensation: Salaried, paid bi-weekly.
