About the role#
As a Global Sourcing Intern, you will support the team in managing the components essential to our product success. You will focus on balancing cost, performance, and reliability while building relationships with suppliers to expand our manufacturing capabilities. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with current and potential suppliers to maintain the material pipeline.
- Develop strategies to optimize suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience.
- Assist in supply chain planning for upcoming product rollouts.
- Conduct market analysis to provide insights into sourcing.
What you'll need#
- A technical or engineering background (Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical Engineering).
- Enthusiasm for sourcing, contacting, and evaluating suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and capacity.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams both in-person and remotely.
- Organizational skills to manage concurrent projects and document progress.
- Leadership experience and exposure to project management.
