About the role#
As a Social Media Content Intern, you will join the team to tell the story of our technology and the community using it. You will work at the intersection of engineering and digital content. This role involves printing, filming, editing, and publishing stories that reach creators worldwide.
What you'll do#
- Own social video projects from the initial pitch to the final publish date.
- Film the 3D printing process and edit high-energy videos for our channels.
- Showcase physical parts, prints, and engineering projects in visual ways.
- Support reporting and analytics to measure content performance and refine strategies.
- Spot real-time social trends and translate them into relevant content.
- Integrate into the larger social media team to support marketing initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Experience with video editing software like Premiere, DaVinci, or Final Cut.
- A curious and technical mindset with an interest in physical making.
- Experience with 3D design, CAD, or 3D printing.
- Understanding of digital platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines as a self-starter.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, Marketing, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- Location: Somerville, Massachusetts.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 14 through December 18, 2026).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid, salaried position with a bi-weekly pay range of $1,050 to $1,400 USD.
