About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in manufacturing and training. You will work with team members to learn production processes and develop training for the manufacturing workforce. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Perrysburg, Ohio. You will report to the Manager of Workforce Development and work alongside specialists for daily guidance.
What you'll do#
- Gather information on products and processes to create training materials.
- Develop training content using PowerPoint and video.
- Print and place materials at training workstations.
- Support the team in onboarding new associates, including leading plant tours.
- Train others as needed and perform data entry for training plans.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related STEM field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills for learning and teaching.
- Experience developing instructional learning material is preferred.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators when necessary.
Location & details#
- Location: Perrysburg, Ohio.
- Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
- Salary: $22 to $25 per hour.
- Travel: Local travel between Perrysburg plants is required.
- Physical requirements: You may sit, stand, or walk for full shifts, climb stairs, and lift up to 27 pounds.
