About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for Winter 2027. You will work on-site in Perrysburg, Ohio. The internship runs from approximately January 15 through May 15. You may enroll in classes during this term if it does not interfere with your work responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, test, and validate prototype samples and project modules.
- Develop and execute new test methods and test structures.
- Present your project summary and accomplishments to the leadership team at the end of the term.
- Work alongside project engineers in a hands-on environment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a technical or engineering degree.
- Experience working in a lab or workbench environment.
- Proficiency with MS programs and JMP software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Rapid prototyping, fabrication, or soldering experience are considered a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Perrysburg, Ohio.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 58 pounds, stand or walk for up to 12 hours, and climb stairs frequently.
- You must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes and respirators, which requires little or no facial hair.
- Vision requirements include 20/40 vision, the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green, and peripheral vision greater than 70 degrees.
