About the role#
This is a full-time internship position for Winter 2027 based in Perrysburg, Ohio. You will work on-site to support yield improvement and wattage projects for solar panels. This role involves data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on work on the production floor.
What you'll do#
- Analyze scrap data and report on daily status to support investigations.
- Learn and use JMP statistical software and new scrap-handling tools.
- Work independently with various groups to collect, organize, and report on root cause analysis.
- Create and present project summaries and technical findings to the leadership team.
- Develop standard operating procedure documents, deploy them on the factory floor, and monitor their success.
- Support production floor logistics, experiment execution, and lab sample preparation.
- Present your work in technical forums using PowerPoint.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Natural Science, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience using statistical software for analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and implement solutions using data or engineering experience.
- Strong communication and written skills, plus the ability to work well across different teams.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or structured problem solving is a plus.
- SQL or Python coding knowledge is a plus.
