    About the role#

    The People & Engagement (P&E) team works with leadership to support the culture and workforce of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. As an intern, you will join a cohort-based program designed to provide real-world experience through project-based assignments. You will work within specific P&E functions such as Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, or Internal Communications. The program includes mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities with senior leaders.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform research and organize information to support strategic goals.
    • Assist with the implementation of people programs, procedures, plans, and guidelines.
    • Participate in specialized projects across various P&E functions.
    • Engage in on-the-job training and professional development activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current undergraduate junior or first-year graduate student status.
    • Expected graduation between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
    • Academic background in Human Resources or Business Administration.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Acrobat.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team.

    • Location: New York, New York.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks).
    • Work Modality: Full-time, on-site.
    • Compensation: Paid internship based on an annual salary of $94,900.
