About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is hiring for the 2027 Summer Business Internship. This program offers students work experience through project assignments and professional development. You will gain insight into the work of the Federal Reserve while building skills in financial analysis, research, and formal presentations. This is a full-time, paid position based in Richmond, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Perform moderately complex analyses of business issues using established methods and tools.
- Assess current capabilities and identify customer needs to help improve processes.
- Gather, analyze, and compile information from stakeholders and end-users.
- Contribute to discussions on process improvements and present outcomes to management.
- Participate in cross-functional team initiatives and projects involving technology.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree or advanced certification in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Operations Management.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- US Citizenship status is required for this position.
