About the role#
This is a 10.5-week paid internship for the Summer of 2027. You will join the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco to work on projects within groups such as Banking Supervision, Statistics and Reserves, Federal Reserve Financial Services, Financial Management, Operations and Safety, or Regional Engagement. You will gain exposure to business challenges and contribute to team deliverables while working in an office environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform research, writing, and data analysis.
- Apply policy comprehension to business projects.
- Communicate findings and solutions within your assigned group.
- Build foundational knowledge through experiential learning and mentorship.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited community college, four-year college, or university.
- Your expected graduation date is between December 2027 and June 2029.
- You are a U.S. Citizen or hold Permanent Residency.
- You have a keen interest in public service and mission-driven work.
- You demonstrate leadership ability.
- You can work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the program.
- Preferred fields of study include Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, and Political Science.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site, requiring you to work 5 days per week in the office.
- Locations include San Francisco, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, and Los Angeles, CA.
- This is a full-time, temporary position.
