About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cleveland, Ohio. You will gain practical experience through real-world projects, receive mentorship from professionals, and participate in professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Identify and assess risks and controls within key processes.
- Coordinate the testing and reporting for incidents, control validation, and monitoring of key risk metrics.
- Research and analyze risk data.
- Assist in preparing quarterly risk reports and briefing materials.
- Share findings with leadership.
- Develop and host training activities focused on risk knowledge and culture.
- Prepare communications and training materials.
- Support the risk team with other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Risk Management, Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Completion of at least one semester of school remaining.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong computer and technical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred, along with experience in Tableau, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a group setting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.
Location & details#
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 to 12 weeks).
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20.50 to $26.00 per hour, depending on background and experience.
