About the role#
The Process Engineering Co-Op supports manufacturing operations at our Lebanon, Ohio facility. You will work directly with production teams to improve capacity, material flow, and productivity. This role is a learning experience that alternates work semesters with your academic schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist with shop floor improvements and the implementation of manufacturing projects.
- Manage specific projects focused on 5S, process improvement, and factory flow.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to design and build fixtures and shop floor aids.
- Conduct time studies and help manage time standards.
- Solve problems on the floor and in office processes using the PDCA cycle.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Basic competency with manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
- Interest in lean manufacturing, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement.
- Ability to multi-task and a desire for hands-on experience.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid position based in Lebanon, Ohio.
- The role requires the ability to traverse the production facility, work around moving vehicles, and lift up to 35 lbs.
